Waiting List

Our waiting list for 2026/27 schoolyear opened on 1st November 2025.

If you wish to add your child's name to the waiting list, please send their full name, date of birth, school they will be attending, and preferred days of attendance to explorersafterschool@gmail.com.

We will make a note of preferred days, but cannot guarantee their availability. Once there are 40 children on the list, we will close it.

 We will start offering places at the end of March 2026. Once all places have been allocated, we will update everyone on the waiting list.

If/when further places become available, we will offer them on a first come, first served basis. We are not in a position to give individual updates. You will only hear from us if your child is at the top of the waiting list.

All services are currently full. Places only become available when a child leaves the service. We will not know how many places we will have to offer until March 2026. Siblings of children currently attending Explorers will get first preference.

If any places become available during the school year, we will offer them to the child at the top of the list. If they do not take the place, they will be removed from the list and the place will be offered to the next child.​​​

 

There is no guarantee of any place in Explorers. 

We offer full-time places (5 days) and very limited part-time places (2 or 3 days).

Tuesday - Thursday is not an option as we fit all the part-time places around each other.

There are 2 separate waiting lists for full-time and part-time places.

We will start offering places in March each year. A deposit of €200 is due on acceptance of a place.

This deposit is non-refundable if you change your mind and your child does not start with us.

When your child does start attending Explorers,  the deposit is deductible from your last invoice where 2 months' written notice is given.​ The deposit is forfeited where 2 months' notice is not given.
