Fees for 2026/27 school year

Fees are due every 4 weeks in line with Government funding. There are no fees due when Explorers is closed as per the calendar in the Parent Information Pack.

Invoices are issued 2 weeks before payment is retrieved by direct debit for fees.

The National Childcare Scheme offer a Universal Subsidy to all children.

We will offer full day camps during Hallowe'en mid-term, February mid-term and the first week of Easter holidays.

All parents receive a calendar in the Parent Information Pack.

Camp will run from 9.00 - 17.00. Children are expected on their normal days of attendance. We cannot facilitate extra days during camp.

*** There is no reduction in fees if your child does not attend camp.***

We will not run camps during the other school holidays.

The weekly camp fee is €220 for full week, €150 for 3 day week, €100 for 2 day week. NCS funding is deducted from the camp fee.

NCS funding is deducted from the prices below. We do not charge for weeks we are closed.

Junior\senior infants:           

• 5 day week - €589.80 

• 3 day week - €380.44

• 2 day week - €267.28

1st - 6th Class:

• 5 day week - €528.76

• 3 day week - €341.60

• 2 day week - €224.00

 

CAMP FEES:

The weekly camp fee is €220 for full week, €150 for 3 day week, €100 for 2 day week. NCS funding is deducted from the camp fee. Camp fees are due whether your child attends or not.

There is strictly no reduction in fees due, but not limited to, absenteeism, maternity/parental leave, holidays, sickness, parents extended holidays, or unexpected school closures due to elections, poor weather/lack of water.

The above fees are payable by direct debit on a 4 weekly cycle.

If your direct debit fails, there will be an administration charge of €10.00 per incident.

Children book in separately for July Camp in SETNS. They will be invoiced separately for this.

 

A deposit of €200 is due on acceptance of a place in Explorers' Afterschool. This deposit is deducted from your last month's fees. The deposit will be refunded where notice is given before the invoice is issued.
